<description>Pam - Facebook and Twitter are similar. The difference is Twitter is more public and directly accessible in the search engines. What I tend to do is use Twitter (most of the time especially for my business things) and I automatically import Twitter&#039;s into Facebook. I tend to do more business on my Twitter community and more personal things on in my Facebook community. You might get a book called TRIBES by Seth Godin. You want to think about crafting very selective group of people to follow and then participate in the conversations when it seems appropriate. It&#039;s not a contest around who has the most folks signed up.

		<description>Hi Tom,
Okay, in a nutshell, how is Twitter different than status updates on Facebook? Why do Twitter? I was left underwhelmed, and confused, thinking I must be missing something. Am I?

Happy Holidays to you and yours.
